samisosa is a dynamic producer and artist currently studying at Jay Z’s Roc Nation School of Music in Brooklyn, NY. With a lifelong love for music, she began playing the piano at just 8 years old, composing classical pieces that showcased their talent.
Around 5 years ago, samisosa delved into production, discovering her true passion. Her music spans genres like Drum and Bass, Jungle, Hip Hop/Boom Bap, and Experimental music, pushing boundaries and creating captivating sounds.
On band-camp, you can find drumkits and vocal loops, offering a diverse range of sounds for fellow musicians and producers. These kits provide the backbone for hard-hitting rhythms, while the vocal loops add soul and emotion to any composition.
Driven by an unwavering pursuit of musical excellence, samisosa constantly experiments with new sounds and techniques. Her compositions showcase a fusion of genres that captivates listeners and leaves them wanting more. She currently performs at venues around Brooklyn and Manhattan. Including, a monthly residency at XPIZZA, Mood Ring, Red Pavillion, TBA Brooklyn, Jade, Newtown Radio and more.
